More than six years after his first stint in the UFC, Brazilian Roan Jucão is back in the biggest MMA organization on the planet. Without giving details about the location or even his opponent in the re-debut, the welterweight himself made the announcement this Monday (15), through social media.

“I can't put into words how I feel about signing this contract again. Yes, now I'm a UFC fighter again. More news soon. Thank you my God, my family, my team, my fans and to everyone who always believed in my work and to those who didn't believe either", wrote the fighter on Facebook.
At 36 years old, Roan Carneiro has a professional record of 19 wins and nine losses. The Rio native had stints in events such as Shotoo, Deep, United Glory and Road FC and in his last appearance in the ring he won the one-night Battleground MMA event in October.
In the most famous octagon in the world, “Jucão”, as he is known, had five fights, having won two and lost three. In his last fight in the organization, in September 2008, Roan was defeated by Japanese Ryo Chonan in a split decision at UFC 88.
