The Brazilian being run over Rafael dos Anjos about Nate diaz last Saturday (13) was the end of a regrettable week for the North American. The younger brother of Nick Diaz He showed unprofessionalism during the preparation for UFC on FOX 13, missed open training, claimed to have shown up injured and still hasn't made weight by almost 2 kg. Nate's behavior was harshly criticized by president Dana White, who gave the fighter an ultimatum.

"Nate diaz you need to take this sport seriously and get your act together or retire,” said the manager at the post-event press conference. “I have a list of dirty clothes to wash with Nate diaz. Like I said, I've always liked Nate, but he's his own worst enemy. He says he wants to earn more money, but he appears almost two kilos overweight, which makes him lose 20% of his purse. He does a series of other things and is fined ten thousand dollars,” he added.

The manager also commented on the difficulties of negotiating with Nate and his brother Nick. “We are negotiating with him now. You accept a certain amount of 'whatever' when you're in business with the Diaz brothers, and we have a lot of other athletes that a lot of things happen to behind the scenes and we try our best to be fair. But these guys are already crossing the line,” he said.

Despite the criticism, Dana praised the bravery of the American, who resisted one of the harshest punishments in the recent history of the Octagon for three rounds. “But I tell you: he is too tough. Those leg kicks he absorbed, the Rafael dos Anjos he should come back here and be arrested for attempted murder in that fight. He absolutely destroyed Diaz. It was a one-sided beating,” he defined.
