Scheduled for September 27th, at Clube Oásis, in Barra da Tijuca, WOCS has new features in its fifth edition. Following the trend of the UFC and other events around the world, the fights will be fought in an octagon.
“We decided to install a cage so that standardization can occur. I think this is the current trend and it creates an identification even for the public that doesn't follow MMA that much, but knows Ultimate. Furthermore, in the cages there is nowhere for the fighter to escape and this makes the fights even more dynamic, without the constant stoppages”, comments Otávio “Tatá” Duarte, one of the WOCS organizers.
