Despite being just over a month away from the duel against Daniel Cormier at UFC 182, the North American Jon Jones found a space in his busy schedule to come to Brazil last weekend. The light heavyweight champion came to the country to give two seminars, in Porto Alegre (RS) and São Paulo (SP), and took the opportunity to enjoy a private party to the sound of samba in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul.

On social media, Jones recorded his time in southern Brazil. “Great food, great music and great people”, wrote the fighter along with two videos, in which he appears enjoying the hits “Mas que nada”, by Jorge Ben Jor, and “Você”, by Tim Maia.
This is not the first time Jon Jones surrenders to Brazilian rhythms. A few years ago, on a trip to Goiás, the champion even tried some country moves. In the octagon, Jones has his next appointment scheduled for January 3rd, when he puts his belt on the line for the eighth time against the undefeated challenger Daniel Cormier. The duel is the main fight of UFC 182, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas (USA).
