First Class Fight arrives in its third edition

After appearing in March of this year and innovating by holding an MMA event in a nightclub, First Class Fight is now in its third edition, which takes place this September 18th, in São Paulo.

Once again at Pachá, one of the most renowned nightclubs in São Paulo, FCF returns to show its strength in the Brazilian MMA scene and has a reinforced card in its third edition. Furthermore, it has been attracting an increasingly diverse and receptive audience to the fastest growing sport in the world.

“We want to show that MMA is not just for fighters, for those people who train a martial art in a gym. We are taking the sport to everyone who might be interested and in a cool environment. The FCF is not an event just for the fighting public. It’s a fighting event, for a qualified audience”, says Roberto Godoi, creator and organizer of the event.

And the proposal is already starting to bear fruit. Attracting more and more fans to the event and to MMA, the third edition of First Class Fight has almost sold out tickets, both on the track and in the box.

For the event on the 18th, one of the main innovations will be the fights being held in an octagon, just like in major American MMA tournaments. Furthermore, it will be broadcast for the first time on Globosat's Premiére Combate pay-per-view channel.

“With an event of this size, we had to put together a worthy card and that's why we invested in renowned fighters in the country. I'm sure that whoever goes to Pachá on September 18th will have fun both because of the partying and the great fights”, continues Godoi.

But before the professionals show all their ability, whoever goes to the FCF will have an 'aperitif' in the octagon. After seeing Theo Becker's participation in the reality show 'A Fazenda', on TV Record, Roberto Godoi – who in addition to being a businessman is one of the most renowned jiu-jitsu masters in Brazil and owner of a chain of gyms – challenged the actor and model for a submission fight (no-gi jiu-jitsu). And the gaucho accepted.

“He was beyond measure. He seemed like a nice guy, but I didn't like the way he treated people. I think conversation is the basis of relationships, but anything would go further. He has an energy that would be good if he put it in the ring. I'm calling on him to fight to set a good example”, challenged Roberto Godoi.
