Edson Barboza shoots up the UFC rankings after victory over Bobby Green

The victory over Bobby Green last Saturday (22), at UFC Fight Night 57, brought great rewards to Edson Barboza. The Brazilian, who won the fight in the judges' decision, gained five positions in the official UFC rankings in the lightweight division.

Now, Barboza occupies sixth position and becomes the second Brazilian athlete to join the top 10 in the category up to 70 kg – Rafael dos Anjos is the third. Defeated in the fight, Green fell from seventh to ninth place.
