Being dismissed from a company is never easy and many people fear the moment when they will be called to have “the conversation” in the boss's office or HR department, which will invariably end with notification of the end of the employment relationship. But that's not exactly how things turned out for now-former Bellator athlete Desmond Green. In an interview, Green revealed that he was informed of his dismissal from the organization in an email received from management.

“Yes, I was upset about it, but you know, it's business. I didn't really get it, but they really had their reasons for it. I was surprised, that's for sure. All I got was an email from them after (new director Scott) Coker took over. Not a phone call, just a letter. It wasn’t even a letter, it was an email (laughs)”, commented Green, during a promotional video for his next fight, at the Titan FC event.

In the fight, Green, who has a professional record of 12 wins and just three losses, will face former UFC athlete Miguel Torres.
