Former boxer Mike Tyson reveals he suffered sexual abuse as a child

In an interview, the boxing star said he was intimidated and coerced by his attacker, but moved on

Former heavyweight champion and considered one of the greatest boxers of all time, Mike Tyson He had a life story marked by great controversies and also several personal and family problems. During a recent interview with a North American radio station, Tyson opened up once again and reported another drama he experienced in his childhood. The fighter reported an episode of sexual abuse experienced when he was just seven years old.

“He picked me up on the street. I was a little boy… He was an older man. He intimidated me, sexually abused me, that sort of thing. I never saw him again. I moved on with my life. I don't know if this changed anything in me or not. Sometimes I remember, sometimes I don't. But I don’t feel humiliated or embarrassed to talk about it,” Tyson told the “Opie Radio” program on Sirius XM radio. The former boxer also revealed that out of fear he never filed a complaint with the police.
