One of the biggest stages in world football, it became for a few hours the main MMA stage on the planet. The mythical Maracanã stadium hosted, this Thursday (23), the open training sessions of UFC Rio 5. During the early hours of the afternoon, the main athletes of the event, which takes place this Saturday (25), passed through the stage of the World Cup finals of the World from 1950 to 2014.
In addition to the open training sessions, the Ultimate organization took the opportunity to promote a tribute to the 63 years since the historic fight between the legendary Hélio Gracie and Japanese judoka Masahiko Kimura, held at the same Maracanã on October 23, 1951, given to family members of the patriarch of the Gracie family.
