The UFC reviewed the results of the recent anti-doping test of Cung le and decided to lift the one-year suspension given to the Vietnamese after his fight at UFC Macau in August.

After being knocked out by Michael Bisping In the fourth round, Le had a growth hormone (GH) level detected in his exam that was above the reference adopted by the laboratory. As Macau does not have a regulatory athletic commission, the tests were conducted by a laboratory in Hong Kong, chosen by the UFC.

However, the UFC received medical advice based on the total level of the hormone present in Le's body and concluded that the amount in itself is not proof that the fighter had ingested prohibited substances before the fight. As a result, it was decided to withdraw the suspension.

The UFC also stated that no further action on the episode will be taken. Thus, Le, 42 years old, is authorized to fight again.
