UFC reschedules duel between Thiago Pitbull and Jordan Mein for January

The fight was originally scheduled for August this year, but the Brazilian suffered a knee injury

Hampered by several injuries in recent years, Thiago Pitbull He already has a date set to return to the UFC Octagon. It will be on January 31, 2015, at UFC 183, in Las Vegas (USA), when he will face Canadian promise Jordan Mein.

The fight had already been scheduled for August this year, but the Brazilian was forced to leave the event due to a knee injury. Mein then faced the veteran Mike pyle and won by technical knockout in the first round.

Pitbull's last fight in the UFC was in April of this year, when he defeated Seth Baczynski by decision. Before that, the former title challenger spent more than two years away from fighting. The irregularity is also seen in the results, as Thiago, 31 years old, has been alternating victories and defeats since 2010.

Six years younger, the Canadian has a record of 29 wins and nine losses in professional MMA. In addition to the victory over Pyle, Mein also defeated Hernani Perpétuo and Dan Miller, having lost to Matt Brown in the meantime.
