Anderson Silva is in the final stages of preparation for his fight at UFC-101, against Forrest griffin, on next Saturday. During the training break, the champion gave another of his controversial interviews, the fighter commented on the hiring of Vitor belfort by Ultimate and rumors that the black belt could be a challenger for the “Spider” title.
"He (Vitor belfort) wouldn't fight Fedor? Now is it me? Soon he will be in our CT wanting to fight Minotauro or Minotouro. Wanting to box with Maldonado... In fact, Vitor needs to find himself, he doesn't know what he's going to do, but I'm there to fight", said Anderson, who took the opportunity to state that Vitor's return to the Octagon should be against Wanderlei Silva, in a rematch of the confrontation that took place in 1998.
“I think he (Belfort) should fight Wanderlei. This fight is on hold for Wandeco and this fight would be a good one for Wanderlei… I think Wanderlei would crush Vitor. It would be a knockout for Wand”, said Anderson in statements to the American website Sherdog.
