The weigh-in for UFC Fight Night 53, in Stockholm, Sweden, was carried out without any major scares this Friday (3). All fighters who will participate in the event managed to reach the weight limit for their categories and confirmed all the fights scheduled for the card.
The night's main attraction fighters, Gunnar Nelson and Rick Story reached the limit of the welterweight division, although without needing to use the extra pounds (0,45 kg) given to fights that are not valid for the belt. After stepping off the scale, the serene Nelson and veteran Story had a calm look, as expected.
UFC Fight Night 53 will take place this Saturday (4), starting at 13pm Brasília time. The event will be broadcast on the “Combate” channel.
