The UFC has a full schedule this weekend. Two Fight Night events will be held this Saturday (4), with main fights that could move the welterweight division.
In Halifax, in the Canadian state of Nova Scotia, Rory McDonald will try to secure his position as the next challenger for the 77 kg belt against the former Strikeforce champion Tarec saffiedine. Before, in the co-main fight, Raphael Assunção also wants to establish itself as a future contend between the cocks against the hard Bryan caraway. Two other Brazilians will participate in the event: Bruno Carioca faces Elias Theodorou, and Peter Munhoz faces Jerrod Sanders.
Hours earlier, UFC Fight Night 53 will take place in Stockholm, Sweden. Newcomer Gunnar Nelson will try to maintain his undefeated record against the experienced Rick Story.
