Bellator 130, which will be held on October 24th in Wichita, Kansas (USA), will have as its main attraction the fight for the organization's light heavyweight belt. Emanuel Newton will make his second title defense against Englishman Linton Vassell, who is on a three-fight win streak in Bellator.
Newton also has a good positive streak, having won his last six fights. He won the belt in March, defeating Attila Vegh via split decision. In his first defense, Newton knocked out former UFC fighter Joey Beltran in the third round in September.
Another attraction will be the return of the women's categories at Bellator. Veteran Marloes Coenen will try to recover from the defeat she suffered against Chris Cyborg in her last fight against Italian Annalisa Bucci. Still on the main card, heavyweight giant Bobby Lashley faces the undefeated Karl Etherington.
