Wanting to do one more fight in 2014, Donald Cerrone accused Myles Jury of refusing to face him in December. The “Cowboy” comes from five consecutive victories and is fourth in the lightweight category, while the undefeated Jury is eighth.

Jury posted on his Twitter account that he was finalizing the details of his next fight, which would be in January. “I want to give you what you want to see. Who do you want me to face in January”, asked the fighter. Cerrone then immediately responded: “Hey, don't try to start talking sh*t on Twitter! You had the contract for December and you refused! Don't come and say you're ready. All fighters want to say they are going to fight. It’s super easy: call Dana [White] and sign on the dotted line, right below where my name is signed,” he countered.

This Tuesday (September 30), Cerrone even posted that he had agreed on the details of his next fight, but later backtracked. “Well, the good news I had was overturned. Did the fighter say he was hurt?” he wrote.

In light of the controversy, Jury stated that he accepts to face Cerrone, as long as the fight takes place in January. “The UFC contacted my managers wanting this fight. The fans want this fight, I heard Cerrone wants this fight and we want this fight. Now, let’s wait and see what day in January [the fight will be held],” he concluded.
