In times of dynamism and digital interactions, social networks can be better allies for a fighter who wants to face another than traditional microphones. And it was precisely profiles on the internet that helped Mark Hunt and Josh Barnett to agree on a fight. With the intention of facing each other at UFC Australia, in November, the duo used the network from the proposal to the agreement, including the official proposal directed to the president Dana White himself.

“I understand why the Mark Hunt wants to face me. We fighters like to clean up our defeats and I have total respect for him. He's a great guy. I'm not sure when this fight could happen, but I'm not against it at least. Great work in your last fight, mate”, Barnett published on the microblogging network. Quickly, Hunt himself suggested the duel to the UFC management. “Hey, Dana White, Josh and I are very interested in a fight in Sydney, there's no way Josh will be away for so long”, said the “Super Samoan ”.
