Despite the undisputed victory over Antonio Pezão and climbing no less than seven positions in the heavyweight rankings after the triumph, not all the news is good for Andrei Arlovski No. UFC Brasilia. According to the list of medical suspensions for the event, the Belarusian could be out of action for up to six months if an injury to his wrist is confirmed.
The list, under the responsibility of the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission, was published by the North American website “MMA Junkie”. According to the document, Arlovski is expected to undergo an x-ray in the coming weeks and his return to the octagon will only be authorized upon approval from a specialist doctor.
In addition to Arlovski, Mexican Efrain Escudero also received a 180-day suspension due to a knee problem. Among Brazilians, Antonio Pezão and Igor Araújo, both knocked out on the night, were suspended for 60 days, and must remain a month and a half without any type of contact activity.

Russell Doane: 45 days – no contact for 30 days;
George Sullivan: 30 days – no contact for 21 days;
Igor Araujo: 60 days – no contact for 45 days.
Francisco Massaranduba: 30 days – no contact for 21 days;
Leandro Buscapé: 30 days – no contact for 21 days;
Paulo thiago: 45 days – no contact for 30 days.
