The Bitetti Combat organization confirmed another big name in the event that promises to rock the Maracãnazinho, on September 12th, in Rio de Janeiro. Paul Philo, Paulão, who has participated in events such as Pride and WEC, is guaranteed on the card.
Paulão, who faces Melvin Manhoef on July 20th, for Dream, already has a defined opponent in the national event. The black belt faces American Alex Shonawer.
“I believe that the American comes from another discipline, he cannot be better than me at jiu-jitsu. I now have to know what his qualities are, study them and, together with my coaches Josuel Distak, Amaury Bitetti and master Oswaldo Alves, devise a strategy and make him fight in an uncomfortable way. May I do what is good for me and not let him do what is good for him”, analyzed Paulão.
Other fights confirmed for the event are between Fury FC champion Leandro Batata and Cassiano Tytschyo and Vitor miranda against Fabio Maldonado.
