Despite the severity of the episode in which she was involved, Christy Mack is recovering well. Attacked by her ex-boyfriend and MMA fighter War Machine just over a month ago, the porn star appeared publicly for the first time this weekend and showed signs of her significant improvement.
"I am very well. I have received a lot of support from my friends and fans, it has definitely helped me a lot. I feel much better and I am really continuing my recovery”, said Mack, in an interview with the website “TMZ”.
In addition, Christy published a report on her profile on Twitter in which he details what the weeks of recovery were like after War Machine's attack. According to Mack, she was lucky not to end up with permanent damage to her vision due to the injuries she suffered. The actress also commented that she has been making regular visits to the dentist to repair some broken teeth.
Finally, Christy reported that she will have difficulty moving the upper part of her lips, which remain quite swollen, for the next six months. Furthermore, Mack said that she lost almost 7 kg during her time in the hospital and returned to feeling normal, especially after the growth of her hair, which also had parts cut off during the attack.
On August 8, War Machine seriously assaulted Christy Mack and a friend at the actress' home. After a period on the run, the fighter was captured and taken back to Las Vegas (USA), where the attacks took place. Responding to no less than 32 charges, the fighter could even be sentenced to life in prison.
