UFC plans to marry Lyoto Machida x CB Dollaway for event in Brazil

Information provided by 'UFC Tonight' indicates a fight between Brazilian and North American for December 20th

Lyoto Machida may be close to having made his next commitment inside the UFC octagon official. The organization plans to host a fight between the Brazilian fighter and CB Dollaway on December 20th, in an event to be held in Barueri, in greater São Paulo. The fight, if confirmed, will be the main attraction of the night.

Former light heavyweight champion, Machida, 36 years old, is coming off a defeat to the current champion of the middleweight division, Chris Weidman. Before that, the Brazilian had defeated Gegard Mousasi and Mark Muñoz, and currently, “Dragon” occupies fourth position in the category ranking.

Dollaway, ranked ninth in the rankings, comes from two consecutive victories, over Francis Carmont and Cezar Mutant. Before that, he had lost to Tim Boetsch in a controversial judges' decision, as well as having victories over Daniel sarafian and Jason Miller. Dollaway has been a UFC athlete since 2008 and has a record of 15 wins and five losses in MMA.

PUBLICITY:

The fight should take place on December 20th. Even if there is no official confirmation, the event should take place in the city of Barueri, in São Paulo.
