Disfigured after battle against Sodiq Yusuf No. UFC Las Vegas 81, Edson Barboza shocked when he recorded his lightning-fast recovery from facial injuries. In just six days, the featherweight (up to 65,7kg) reached full rehabilitation and shared the feat on social media. Despite the damage, the Friborg native put on a show in the match and won the promise in the judges' decision.
“New in six days,” Barboza wrote.

In the challenge against Yusuff, Edson was close to being knocked out in the first round. The veteran, however, recovered during the confrontation and left the octagon with a positive result in the judges' decision.
With the victory, Barboza confirmed his good moment in the featherweight division. The athlete currently occupies 11th place in the group ranking.
