Bellator cleans up and removes 13 fighters from its roster, including former champion

List of fighters fired includes Attila Vegh, Brazilian Sérgio Júnior and veteran Mighty Mo

Since Scott Coker took over as Bellator, important changes have been implemented in the organization. After the announcement the end of GPs and creation of the women's division, the event removed 13 athletes from its squad.

The list includes former light heavyweight champion Attila Vegh. A member of the American Top Team academy, the Slovak had a standout campaign in the organization, recording five wins and just one defeat. In his last fight, he lost the belt to Emanuel Newton in a split decision.

Brazilian Sérgio Júnior was also removed from the list of Bellator athletes. At 33 years old, Júnior had two fights in the organization, with one victory and one defeat. Also on the list is the name of veteran Mighty Mo, an experienced K-1 fighter.
