TUF champions and former challengers complete UFC 180 main card

Diego Sanchez, Kelvin Gastelum, Jake Ellenberger and Ricardo Lamas will participate in the first UFC event held in Mexico

The card for the UFC's first visit to Mexico is taking shape. This Tuesday (26), in a press conference held in the country's capital, Mexico City, Ultimate announced the fights that will form the main list of UFC 180, which will take place on November 15th.

Headed by Cain Velazquez x Fabricio Werdum, valid for the organization's heavyweight title, the attraction will feature some TUF champions, former title challengers and other prominent fighters.

Winner of the first season of TUF and former lightweight title challenger, Diego Sanchez will face TUF Smashes champion Norman Parke. Kelvin Gastelum, which won the title of the 17th edition of reality show, will face the eighth place in the welterweight division, Jake ellenberger. Ricardo Lamas, former challenger for the featherweight belt, belonging to José Aldo, will fight against Dennis Bermudez. Finally, Mexican Erik Pérez will face Marcus Brimage at bantamweight.
