the veteran Cung le, 42 years old, already has an appointment to return to the UFC octagon: it will be next Saturday (23), in Macau, when he will face Michael Bisping in the main attraction of UFC Fight Night 48. However, the Vietnamese is already dreaming of another future fight: he hopes to be able to face Anderson Silva.

Le praised the former UFC middleweight champion and stated that the fight against the Brazilian would be an honor. “For some reason, there is an opportunity to face Anderson, and I, of course, would love to face the legend. He's a legend. I am inspired by him and it would be an honor to face him”, said the fighter, in an interview with the podcast “The Great MMA Debate”.

The Vietnamese stated that the Brazilian is still fully capable of performing at a high level despite the defeats suffered in his last two fights. “He is one of the best. Sometimes the style of play matches perfectly with other styles and Anderson happened to find his kryptonite in Chris Weidman. In his last fight, he happened to break his shin bone, but I'm impressed that he's back, ready to fight in January,” commented Le.

Anderson, who hasn't fought since December 2013, already has a date set to return to the UFC: it will be on January 31st, when he will face Nick Diaz in the main fight of UFC 183.
