The Brazilian Rani Yaya, who faces Kid Yamamoto on the 31st, for K-1 Heros, recorded an interview for Japanese TV yesterday in Brasília, shortly before leaving for Japan.
Japanese TV filmed footage of Ataíde Jr.'s black belt training. Despite hating giving interviews before fights – “It's even claustrophobic. I start to sweat” – Rani told the Japanese that he usually overcomes challenges and, without a doubt, facing #1 at 65kg is one of the biggest challenges of his life. “The boy is lining up everyone in the gym, he is very well trained. The biggest challenge for him will be to reach 62kg on the 30th”, revealed master Ataíde, who embarks with Rani on December 26th.
