César Gracie, head coach of Nick Diaz, trust that your athlete has all the conditions to knock out Anderson Silva in the main fight of UFC 183, which will take place on January 31, 2015 in Las Vegas, United States.
The coach believes that, despite the North American's sharp ground game, the fight will take place entirely on the feet. “I believe it will be a striking fight the entire time. Nick is better on the ground, he has better jiu-jitsu, but I believe the fight will take place on the feet and won't last five rounds. Someone will be knocked out”, said Gracie, in an interview with the North American website “MMA Fighting”.

Thus, Gracie trusts in Diaz's chances even if the fight remains standing, as he believes that the Brazilian does not have the same absorption of blows as he used to. “Nick is difficult to knock out. He was knocked out only once, early in his career. Anderson is bigger than Nick, but he's in his late 40s and his chin isn't what it used to be. If Nick hits him, he will win the fight. Nick will be 31 in August, he's just a kid. Anderson is fast and dangerous. I don’t know who will win, but I think it will be a good fight”, he predicted.
However, the coach thinks that Anderson, a middleweight (up to 84 kg) by nature, will have a physical advantage over Diaz, who usually plays at welterweight (up to 77 kg). “Anderson is used to facing bigger guys, like Chael Sonnen. So, I think the weight difference will help Anderson,” she commented.
