Jon Jones already seems to be training hard for the fight he will do against Daniel Cormier on September 27th, in the main fight of UFC 178. This Thursday (31st), the UFC light heavyweight champion published a video on his account on Instagram in which he appears with a large cut above his eye.
Jones also recorded the placement of stitches on the spot, even joking: “Do I still look good?” asks the fighter, who hears the doctor’s response: “It will be in a week.”

The post raised concerns among his fans about the September fight, but Jones himself was keen to clarify that the incident will not harm his preparations. “I got four stitches, and in four days I'm going to get them out. The wound will heal within a week. Now is the time to start wearing head protection,” Jones said in another post.
