Fight between Lawler and Brown has a peak audience of 3,4 million viewers

Average UFC on FOX 12 main fight numbers were around 2,5 million people in the US

The main fight of UFC on FOX 12, last Saturday (26), between Robbie Lawler and Matt Brown, reached a peak of 3,4 million viewers in the United States, according to figures released by the marketing research company “AC Neilsen”.

The event, broadcast on open television in the country, reached its maximum audience between 22pm and 22:30pm local time, exactly between the second round of the contest and the post-fight interviews. The fight between Lawler and Brown, won by the former, put the position of next challenger for the welterweight belt at stake.

The average for the event was around 2,5 million viewers, leading among male viewers aged between 18 and 34. The numbers are similar to those reached by other events recently broadcast on FOX. The record continues with the first event, with the fight between junior gypsy e Cain Velazquez beating 5,7 million average viewers.
