After three years, Charles of the Bronx will finally have the chance to turn around one of the most regretted results of his career: the I didn't answer against Nik lentz in 2011. The Brazilian, who had already declared in an interview with SUPER FIGHTS Podcast who would like a rematch against Lentz, will meet the American again in the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 50, on September 5th, in Ledyard (USA).

The information was released on the website of the “Combate” channel. In the first fight against the North American, Charles of the Bronx had been declared the winner, but the result was reversed after it was discovered that the Brazilian had applied an illegal knee to his opponent before the submission. Coincidentally, the fight marked the penultimate time for both athletes in the lightweight division. Currently, both Charles and Nik perform as featherweights.
