The fourth edition of WOCS, which takes place on June 25th, at Clube Oásis, in Barra da Tijuca (RJ), will also feature a women's fight on the card. In action will be the representative of Nova União Claudia gadelha, one of the great revelations of André Pederneiras' team, which, in addition to being a three-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu champion, has two fights and is undefeated in MMA.
“I loved the opportunity, even more so because it was at WOCS. The event is to be congratulated for encouraging women's MMA, which doesn't have much support in Brazil. I hope to show good jiu-jitsu, wrestling and boxing so that promoters can see our value and invite more girls to events,” she commented.
Claudinha's opponent will be Juliana (Brigadeiro) and the fighter already knows what lies ahead. To prepare, she has a top team.
“I know she comes from kickboxing and is blue in jiu-jitsu. I've seen a video of her on YouTube and she has good striking. I'm training a lot in boxing with Giovanne Diniz, wrestling with Pedro, a Cuban who trains us at Nova União, and ground with Ronys Torres and Marlon Sandro”, he said.
Tickets for WOCS are on sale at a 50% discount with the presentation of a student ID or promotional flyer, which will be easily found. The VIP area, with an open buffet, costs R$ 180 (R$ 90 half) and the ticket is a shirt (mandatory to wear). The common chair will be sold for R$80 (R$40 half). Grandstand tickets are almost sold out.
