This Wednesday (02), exactly one month before his next title defense at UFC 176, the Brazilian José Aldo announced that he suffered an injury during his preparation and that is why he will not fight at the event in Los Angeles (USA). The news did not please the challenger Chad Mendes, which went to Twitter to let off steam and took it hard against the featherweight champion, even contesting the injury that forced the Nova União athlete to abandon the card in August.

“Well, it happened again with this guy. It’s strange how often he “gets hurt”. Sorry for the bad news. I was really looking forward to taking that belt on August 2nd. Now I think we should wait and see what the UFC has planned for us”, Mendes published on his official profile on the microblogging network.
