Coach confirms Ronaldo Jacaré's participation in UFC 176, in August

Josuel Distak revealed that the fourth placed middleweight will be at an event in Los Angeles; opponent was not disclosed

Fourth place in the official UFC rankings in the middleweight category, Ronaldo Jacare There is already a day and place to return to the octagon. Josuel Distak, his main coach, revealed to the North American website MMA Fighting that the fighter will have his next fight on August 2nd, at UFC 176, which will be held in Los Angeles (USA).

This will be Jacaré's first time outside Brazil for the UFC. Of his three participations to date, two were in Jaraguá do Sul (SC) and one in Belo Horizonte (MG). The opponent, however, has not been confirmed. “Any option between first and seventh in the ranking is good for us. We will overtake everyone on our way to the title. Regardless of who the UFC puts in, Jacaré will be ready to fight,” said Distak.

Of the top seven in the UFC rankings, only two have fights scheduled: Lyoto Machida, the second, will compete for the belt against Chris Weidman on July 5th at UFC 175. Vitor belfort, the third, is scheduled to fight in the same event, although it still depends on the license to participate in the fight.

The other athletes in the UFC's top 7 are Anderson Silva, Luke Rockhold, Tim Kennedy and Gegard Mousasi – the last three, former opponents of Jacaré in Dream and Strikeforce.
