Experienced in the world of martial arts, Robert whittaker had a curious hunch when analyzing the confrontation between Justin gaethje x Dustin poirier. Aware of the aggressive style of both athletes, the New Zealander believes that the duel for the BMF belt this Saturday (29) will have no winner. In his podcast, the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg) explained the reason for the unusual opinion.

“Oh man, what a fight this is going to be. Oh yes, honestly? Of the two guys, honestly? Nobody wins this fight. Poirier and Gaethje, neither of those guys wins this fight. It's going to be that kind of fight, I feel it in my bones. This is a very different Gaethje than when they first fought. If I had to pick someone, this would be the one fight that I think could very well end in a draw… Both guys are very happy to drop their shields. Both guys are very good defensively, both guys have excellent wrestling, takedown defense and offensive wrestling. Both guys are tough as nails. They are very good at absorbing blows and firing blows. They are very similar in styles to a certain extent,” Whittaker explained.
