Alexander Gustafson took a very clear stance regarding the controversy surrounding his rematch against Jon Jones. On his Facebook profile, the Swede did not mince words in asking the current UFC light heavyweight champion to sign the contract for the fight and give him a new opportunity to challenge for the belt.

"Jon Jones, be a man, be a champion, sign the contract for the fight and stop running”, wrote Gustafsson. “Sooner or later you will have to face me, so make it happen soon! The fans want this fight, the UFC wants this fight and I want this fight. I deserve."

Gustafsson even considered the possibility of denying Jones a third fight if the rematch goes ahead and the Swede wins. “Keep in mind that after I beat you and become champion, I can do the same to you if you want a rematch, as revenge for you not accepting my challenge”, he threatened.
