The fight between two of the biggest promises in the UFC welterweight category had to be postponed. Due to an injury, Ryan LaFlare will not be able to face Gunnar Nelson at UFC Dublin, which will take place on July 19th. His replacement has already been chosen: Zak Cummings, who is also undefeated in the UFC.

Icelandic Nelson has had a perfect campaign in the UFC so far, with three wins in three fights. In the last of them, he finished Omari Akhmedov at UFC Fight Night London, in March. The victories put the 25-year-old fighter in 13th position in the official UFC rankings in the welterweight category.

Cummings is a former TUF participant in the United States, in the season he had Chael Sonnen e Jon Jones as coaches. He was eliminated in the first round of the program. However, the fighter's campaign within the UFC is positive, with victories over Ben Alloway and, more recently, Yan Cabral.

The main fight of UFC Dublin will be between the featherweights Conor McGregor, local athlete, and Cole Miller.
