The undefeated Daniel Cormier has a very important fight ahead of him. This Saturday (24), the North American faces the legendary Dan Henderson in the co-main event of UFC 173, which will be held in the city of Las Vegas (USA).

Even though he has already faced challenges like Josh Barnett, Antonio Pezão, Frank mir e Roy Nelson, Cormier highlighted the danger brought by Henderson and stated that the veteran is the biggest opponent in his MMA career so far. “For me, he is the biggest and baddest person I have ever shared the Octagon with. He's strong, hits hard and can wrestle. I see it as the Mike Tyson in boxing and [Marcus Almeida] Buchecha in jiu-jitsu. I'm ready for the best fighter that can exist”, praised Cormier, in an interview with the North American website MMA Fighting.

If he emerges victorious on Saturday, 'DC' will most likely receive the chance to challenge the UFC light heavyweight champion. The fighter says he is ready for the chance and has no doubt that he will become the new owner of the belt. “Do I believe I’m going to get past these guys? No. Do I believe I can beat any of these guys? Yeah. They're tough, but I can hit Alexander Gustafson e Jon Jones. I will hit Dan Henderson. That’s what I’m supposed to do,” she said.
