After being defeated by Matt Brown at UFC Fight Night 40 and being the target of harsh criticism from fans, especially on social media, the Espírito Santo Erick silva came out publicly on Sunday afternoon (11) to express his opinion. On your official profile on Twitter, Erick published a series of messages in which he apologized to the fans and stated that he intends to return to the octagon soon.

“Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who supported and took the time to watch my fight. I know I disappointed and I have no excuses. I know I'm after these thick skins, but whenever there's a fight, I'll go. Regardless of who it is and whether or not I will come away with victory. I know that many will criticize me, but I won't give up, I'll be back soon. Thank you everyone”, wrote Silva on the microblogging network.
