Brazilian highlight in light heavyweight (up to 93kg.) of Ultimate, Johnny Walker analyzed the Dana White's statements about his performance at UFC Charlotte. Needled by his boss, who questioned his performance in front of Anthony Smith, the combatant explained himself. The boss's complaint was due to the fact that the fighter had not sought victory on the fast track.

“I could have knocked him out if I had pressed a little harder. I guess I didn't want it to end. I was enjoying the fight and wanted to see what else he had to offer. He had nothing left, so he should have ended it in the third round, but I only had a few seconds left. I should have 'woke up'. When I realized, there was no more time,” said Walker, in an interview with podcast 'Frank Exchange'.

In addition to beating an icon of the division, Walker went further. The fighter expanded his good momentum in the company, now adding three positive results in a row.
