Durinho also associated Overeem's departure from Blackzilians with an episode in which he was responsible for the injury of a training partner. “I think he was one of the guys who caused an injury to Guto (Inocente). Guto was already recovering from his knee, returning to training, and with a broken hand. He was beating up Overeem in a striking training session and Overeem kind of took him down and that's where he got hurt. Overeem got mad at him because the guy was just with a mother and beating him. In the fall, Guto's other knee blew out and that's why he was stopped all this time. It was an injury that we were very sad about and that was when he left the team. And it only added up after he left. Another mood in the team, other results and it only got better”, he concluded.
