The injury of junior gypsy, who will no longer be able to take part in the main fight of the TUF Brasil 3 Finale, in São Paulo, saddened a large part of the country's MMA fans. However, those who felt the news the most were Stipe Miocic, who was scheduled to face the former heavyweight champion at Ginásio do Ibirapuera, on May 31st.
In your official account at Twitter, the American of Croatian descent was upset with the news, but wished Cigano a good recovery. “Saddened by the news. I wish Junior dos Santos a good recovery”, wrote the fighter.
The UFC has not yet commented on what it will do regarding the main fight of the event. Miocic stated, however, that he is open to any decision the organization makes. “I'm not sure where things stand, but whatever the UFC wants, I'm in,” he said.
Bummed about the news. Wishing @junior_cigano a quick recovery. Not sure where things stand, but whatever the @ufc wants me to do I'm game.
