Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller will headline UFC event in Atlantic City

Confrontation between the seventh and ninth lightweights will be held on July 16th

Light weight Donald Cerrone He already has his next commitment with the UFC scheduled. It will be on July 16th, when he will face Jim Miller in the main attraction of the event to be held in the city of Atlantic City, in the US state of New Jersey.

Ranked seventh in the official UFC rankings, Cerrone is coming off a victory over the Brazilian Edson Barboza, at the event held in Orlando, on April 19th. The “Cowboy”, as he is known, is in a good moment in the UFC, with three consecutive victories, against Evan dunham, Adriano Martins and Barboza. His last defeat was to another Brazilian, Rafael dos Anjosin August 2013.

PUBLICITY:

Cerrone often publicly requests fights from the UFC. According to the fighter, he needs to stay active regularly in Ultimate, as he says he needs money to finance his adrenaline addiction. To give you an idea, Cerrone has already fought five times in the last 12 months.

“I told Dana [White, UFC president] that I would fight anyone, anytime. I'm excited to face a guy like Jim because he always comes up. Fight of the Night Bonus$$” 

PUBLICITY:

Miller, two positions behind in the rankings, is a UFC veteran, where he has been active since 2008. He has won his last two fights, submitting Fabrício Camões and, more recently, Yancy Medeiros.
