Erick silva will try to use the experience gained in his previous fights to beat Matt Brown in the main fight of UFC Fight Night 40, which will take place on May 10, in the city of Cincinnati, in the United States.
Since debuting in the UFC in 2011, the Brazilian has alternated victories and defeats. And it is precisely in the setbacks that Erick will try to extract the necessary experience to find the weapons to beat Brown.
“My moment is good and I am very motivated to win this fight. Matt Brown is an excellent athlete, but I think I've also shown my worth. I studied his game a lot and I'm going to do everything I can to nullify his characteristics and try to impose my style of fighting. I am much more experienced in relation to other fights and I studied a lot to see my mistakes in past fights and not repeat them”, commented the Brazilian fighter, who highlighted his preparation for the fight.
“I'm feeling very calm and confident for this fight. I've been getting very good training and I'm really enjoying the help of everyone in my team. camp. I'm on top of my game, as Rogério Camões is doing an excellent job of physically preparing me and I think that could count in my favor inside the octagon. I'm excited about the chance to do this main fight at a UFC event, it's going to be an honor,” concluded the fighter.
Besides Erick silva, three other Brazilians will participate in the UFC in Cincinnati. Rafael Sapo faces Ed Herman, Yan Cabral faces Zak Cummings and Johnny Eduardo will have a hard time ahead Eddie Wineland.
