The event that will mark the UFC's return to Ireland, on July 19th, will feature a clash between two of the biggest promises in the welterweight category. The undefeated Ryan LaFlare and Gunnar Nelson will face off in Dublin, according to the announcement made by Ultimate this Tuesday (29).
LaFlare, 30 years old, has recorded four UFC victories, beating Ben Alloway, Santiago Ponzinibbio, Court mcgee e, mais recentemente, John Howard. No total, o norte-americano possui um cartel profissional de 11 vitórias em 11 combates realizados.
Nelson, five years younger, has three fights in the organization, in which he beat DaMarques Johnson (submission), Jorge Santiago (judges' decision) and Omari Akhmedov (finalization). His record, however, is not perfect, as he got a draw in his professional MMA debut. The Icelander is the legendary Renzo Gracie's bet for become UFC champion in the future.
