The great performance of Jon Jones against the Brazilian Glover Teixeira, in the main fight of UFC 172, it was not enough for the light heavyweight champion to earn the “Performance of the Night” bonus for the event held this Saturday night (26), in Baltimore, in the United States. Those chosen by the organization of the show were Chris Beal and Joseph Bemavidez. Each received US$50, approximately R$112.

In the first fight of the night, Chris Beal achieved a classic knockout over Patrick Williams, while Joseph Bemavidez submitted Tim Elliot with a guillotine in the last fight of the preliminary card.

The fight of the night bonus went to lightweights Takanori Gomi and Isaac Vallie-Flagg. The fighters fought a battle with frank striking – won by the Japanese – and were also awarded US$50.
