Brazilians Xande Ribeiro and Marlon sandro put on a show and overpowered their opponents in the eighth edition of Sengoku, held this morning, in Tokyo, Japan. Other Brazilians on the card, Michael Costa and Leonard Santos ended up being surpassed by their opponents.
After debuting in the featherweight GP with a submission, Marlon Sandro passed the Canadian Nick denis with a devastating knockout 19 seconds into the fight and remains in contention for the tournament. Already Xande Ribeiro, after debuting in MMA with a knockout victory, repeated the feat and defeated Keiichiro-Yamamiya with a sequence of punches in the third round.
In his debut for the organization, Leonardo Santos ended up defeated by Kazunori Yokota, in a split decision by the judges. Also defeated, chuteboxer, Michael Costa was submitted by Makoto Takimoto, with a heel hook. Check the results
