Last Sunday (13), despite the display of the fight against Wanderlei Silva on TUF Brasil 3, Chael Sonnen preferred to use yours Twitter to comment on a topic other than the reality show. While the program was shown in Brazil and became available to subscribers of the streaming "UFC Fight Pass” ao redor do mundo, Sonnen foi à rede de microblogs desafiar o ex-campeão dos médios Rich Franklin, que está oficialmente a uma luta de se aposentar.

“What do you want me to call you? Mr. Franklin? Rich? Richard? Dick (nickname for Richard, but a pun on a bad word)? Ace? Simply the one who ended his career! Now I'm going to have a drink Berry blast (red fruit juice, in irony of the fact that Franklin also owns a chain of juice bars “ZeLin”)”, Sonnen published on his official profile.

But Franklin doesn't seem to have any interest in a fight against Chael Sonnen, but against an old rival of the loudmouth. “If I would like to fight Anderson Silva a third time? Absolutely. If it's because I feel like I have unfinished business? Not even a little. It's just that, in my mind as a champion and to have the mentality of a champion, I have to believe 100%, with all my heart, that I can beat Anderson in a fight," Rich said in an interview with the show "Submission Radio".

Rich Franklin, who lost his middleweight belt to Anderson Silva in 2006 and was knocked out again by the Brazilian in the rematch between them a year later, he also stated that he believes that Spider can return to challenge for the belt after his return. “We will see what Anderson does behind the scenes in his career, but I see him returning and I also see him seeking the title again at some point. We’ll see if he gets there”, concluded the 39-year-old veteran.
