Jungle Fight announces event in Itu for May with flyweight belt fight

The event will also feature a fight between Jacarezinho and Rivaldo Júnior, which will define the next bantamweight challenger

O Jungle Fight officially announced the location and date of its next event. It will be on May 3rd, in the city of Itu, in São Paulo, with the flyweight belt dispute between Rayner Silva and Nildo Katchal.

This will be the second time that Silva puts his belt on the line, won in September 2013. The first defense was in January, against Júnior Abedi, with a technical knockout victory. Katchal, in turn, will try for his fourth consecutive victory since he decided to move up to flyweight.

In the co-main event of the night, Fabiano “Jacarezinho” and Rivaldo Júnior face off in a fight that will define the next challenger for the bantamweight belt after the rematch between Jonas Bilharinho and Mário Israel.
