Everything is ready in Montreal for UFC-97, an event that takes place this Saturday, at 23 pm, in Canada. In the main fight of the night, a historic duel between Brazilians, Anderson Silva defends the middleweight belt against Thales leites.
“A fight is a fight, it is not possible to predict the result. Thales qualified to fight for the belt and needs to be respected. Regardless of who wins, I'm happy because the belt will remain with a Brazilian”, said the favorite Anderson Silva.
“This is the fight of my life. I know Anderson is a very tough opponent, but I did my job and was recognized. I feel great and I will fight 100%”, says Thales.
Still on the main card, two more Brazilians will be in action. Mauricio Shogun faces the former light heavyweight champion Chuck liddell e Luis “Banha” Cane, which catches Steve-Cantwell. In the preliminary card, Vinicius Magalhães faces Eliot-Marshall. Check out the full show card.
