The Talent 7 Circuit weigh-in, held this Friday (28) in a shopping mall in São Paulo (SP), can be considered the most unusual among the national events of 2014. Protagonists of the card's main fight, valid for the featherweight belt , Marcos Babuíno and João Paulo Rodrigues had to be restrained after a tense confrontation. But this wasn't the most unusual moment of the night. This position went to young Gabriel Macario, aged 20, who stepped on the scale dressed in a suit.
But the unusual outfit for the duel against the scales has an explanation. Gabriel is a sales representative and arrived at the weigh-in location directly from work, after asking to be released a little earlier. “I came straight from work, my boss released me a little early because he knows my triple shift. Tomorrow he will watch my fight. Leaving here, I'm still going to run to college, where I have classes today”, explained the fighter, who faces Marcial Robles in the fight that opens the event this Saturday (29). Even with excess clothing, Gabriel kept his weight within the 73 kg stipulated limit for combat.
